We implemented a brand refresh for Flagrant Magazine, basketball and arts magazine for female sports fans, under our Branding Intensive service.
Flagrant’s stacked line logo is intended to symbolize the lines on a basketball court & the bold character weight to represent their boldness in the sports media industry as female + BIPOC founders. Special care is taken with imagery selection to represent audience, content, and nostalgic theme throughout the brand.
As the only women-founded basketball magazine, Flagrant is used to hoops -- jumping through them, watching them, and playing them.
